OUCH!!!!!

This is Joseph. He is such a sweet spirited little boy and a blessing to our family and everyone that knows him. This is what Joseph normally looks like, but yesterday evening he got bit by a mosquito underneath his right eye. He has an allergic reaction to mosquitos and has to take Hydroxyzine when he gets bit. He had the worst reaction yet when he got bit last night although it was not swollen until just this morning when he woke up.

I took him to the ER just to make sure everything was fine. They told me that his eye was swollen because his cheek was swollen. They said just to keep giving him the Hydroxyzine for the swelling and itching and to give him Tylenol/Motrin for pain. I will also follow up with his pediatrician. Although it looks pretty bad he is doing great. Hardly anything could slow this little guy down.

Haili and Joseph stopping to pose for Momma while playing with the Play Dough set Haili bought with her bus bucks today at Bus Ministry.
This is the first time that Joseph has really gotten to play with Play Dough.

Alanna and Isaac are having a great time too!

I took these next two pictures after I took Joseph out of the bathtub. You can see just how swollen it is.

I'm Back

WOW!!! It has been a long time since I have put a new post on my blog. So much has happened since my last post. We had a new baby, put Malachi in T-ball, and finished up the school year. God has really blessed our home lately. But hopefully I am going to start blogging a lot more than I have been.
Below I have posted a few pictures to let you see some of the blessings we have been experiencing lately.

Ethan Matthew

Ethan Matthew was born February 10th at 2:45 a.m. He weighed 7'11 and was 21 inches long. This picture of Ethan was taken in the hospital right after they gave him his very first bath.

Uncle John came to pick up Haili, Malachi, Alanna, Isaac, and Joseph the night we came home from the hospital. The next day we went to pick them up.

This picture of Ethan was taken on Valentine's Day. He was only four days old.

Ethan in one of his favorite places (other than Momma's arms) - his swing.

I love this picture! Ethan is listening so intently to what his Daddy is saying.
Big sister, Haili, is feeding Ethan his bottle while his Momma gets ready for church.

This picture was taken of Ethan just last week after his bath. He is soooo cute!!!

Some More Pictures

Alanna, Isaac, and Haili stopping for a quick pose before devotions.

Joseph, Malachi, and Isaac
a.k.a. - The Three Stooges

Joseph hiking up the trail to find his sisters and brothers on the pier.

Haili has got her worm and she's ready to get started.

Malachi always makes a goofy face when I try to get a picture of him.

The kids decided they wanted to have their lunch outside on this particular day. Hot dogs and Cheetos......Yum!

This is a silly picture of Alanna when we went swimming at Pam's house the other day.

Look at that diaper! I never knew Pampers held that much.

Malachi's first T-ball practice. They played in the rain. Malachi is the kid in the front of the line.

This is all of the kids that play on Malachi's team. The look like they are paying close attention to what their coach is saying don't they?
